This case has some great, and not so great things you should consider, but it is overall quite a nice case for your ODROID-XU4.Pros:• It looks like a classic gaming console with ventilation. If you want it for non-gaming purposes, but like video games, it is a nice touch.• Works with ODROID-XU4 or XU4Q (I am using with a Q version)• Gives you a front facing USB3 hub with 4 ports.• A 2.4’’ LCD screen in the front.o It is easy to put a small wallpaper on your machine.• It has enough space to house a 2.5’’ HD• Access to all ports in the back & to power button in the front.Cons:• It feels like a cheap plastic console, I personally do not mind, but FYI.• Unless you attach a HD, you will have an unused USB3 port inside the case.• Inserting a MicroSD once the XU4 is in the case is a hit or miss. Not a big problem if you never want to switch MicroSD cards, but I do.• When using a XU4Q, it can get pretty hot on the topReally nice case for the ux4. Has plenty of space to add a data ssd using a usb 3 adapter. Really enjoy the screen showing info screen captures of the game you are playing.Not critically vital to own, but makes ODROID XU4 far more useful.1> it has built in usb 3.0 hub branching one usb3 into 4 free front panel ports.2> comes with cable for a internal 2 terabyte 2.5 inch any-brand laptop external usb 3.0 hard drive3> has ridiculous free space inside for oversized 2 terabyte 2.5 inch any-brand laptop external usb 3.0 hard drive4> its main purpose is not the usb , nor the hard drive, its main purpose is the informative pretty animated color LCD panel on the front, used in 2018 game images such as : "Wolfanoz 400gb Special Odroid XU4 Image", and "256GB Odroid XU4 Image by piPiggies"4 > videos online show you how to snap it together and use it, but some overlook two steps, but you will figure it out.Faster than waiting for far cheaper factory source in korea to ever arrive.THIS ARRIVED IN BARELY A COUPLE DAYS!Good but I not know how to use I try figure out but this better console kitThis kit looks and feels like a cheap N64 knock off... The plastic is paper thin and It has cracked since I dropped this once when building it so don't expect good Hard ABS plastic. Fits the PiB3+ good using it for months with RetroPi the screen just is hotglued and had to return for a replacment when it fell off when I was adjusting it. Everything about it the cables they way it feels makes it hard to suggest at this point in time I hope other companies like RetroFlag start making cases they make them for less and feels real genuine like their one for the Sega Genesis/ Master System.Excellent case. Works well with the software that comes with it or you can use Recalbox or Batocera and still have the nice logo animations.Pros:- Nice screen on the front- Easy to use- Supports hard drives- Lots of ventilationCons:- The way it snaps together is a little cheap and flimsyThis is a good Odroid case, and can accommodate a thin hard drive (ssd or laptop type) put in the case with it. To best utilize the screen however, only a certain emulator build supports it best, an emulator that imo is not preferable to Recalbox. I can only hope future Recalbox builds or optional package support changes this drawback in the future.Works well. Didn’t have instructions but it’s easy to put together. Don’t have much use for the lcd screen but it works well with my Odroid xu and adds more USB ports. You still need a separate power switch as th current switch will turn the unit off but ther is still power to the odroid and pressing it again doesn’t turn it on.Looks the part once setup.
