Way back, over a decade ago, I would buy the best keyboards I could find & more than once paid ... well, a LOT for a keyboard. In the past decade though I've stopped doing that & mostly just use them as tools. I do insist on a 10-key & backlighting but beyond that I stopped being picky. I replace keyboards once I can no longer see the letters because they're all worn off. My last keyboard was also a Redragon & I had no issues with it so I stuck with the brand. Besides my keys being worn out, I also needed a keyboard that had volume control. I had an issue with my sound system & had to get rid of the volume control pod. Now I was having to click on the little sound icon on the bottom bar, then click on the volume scroll bar. Yeah, that works but it takes time. I was accustomed to just reaching out & turning the volume down. I found this keyboard with the volume control & bought it fast. Let me just say, this is more than just a tool. I absolutely love this keyboard! I'm old enough to remember the old IBM clicky keyboards & this keyboard not only clicks but OMG it CLICKS! I love this & it's sturdy. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the box was that it had some weight to it. That volume control is amazing, too. I'm not just happy with this keyboard, but I absolutely love it. I got the combo that came with a mouse because my mouse was also wearing out. The button in the middle (not the scroll wheel, the button behind it) was very sticky & I would have to whack it with something really solid to get it to change the pointer speed (I had to do this every time I turned my PC on). It's really nice to have a new mouse & this one is much more comfortable than the one I had. I can pick it up & move it around more easily than the other one. On the last one, picking it up without positioning your hand very specifically would result in weird clicks happening from the side buttons it had. This one has side buttons too, but they're placed in a much better place to prevent accidental clicking when you move the mouse around. My only complaint with the mouse was the length of the cable ... it's a tad short but I have a USB extender for that & it's fine now. I love the multi-colored backlighting on both devices & love the light stripes on the side of the keyboard. I love everything about this one! Highly recommended! A+
