I was skeptical about ordering this chip, as ASUS said 8 gigs of memory was max for my K53E laptop, but after doing a Google search, I learned that 8 gigs was just what the laptop was tested with...I had two 4 gig ships in it, placed the 8 gig in, making it 12 gigs of memory and it worked like a charm...I plan to order another one soon...oh yeah, the shipping time was awesome...received the chip before the estimated delivery date. My laptop flies now, as related to speed!!!
