I gave it 4 stars because it keeps dropping down on me. It worked really well the first few months. I need to replace the mechanism already.I bought this chair primarily because it has a fabric surface instead of leather and the back is high enough to include a headrest.The good: the chair is reasonably comfortable given its shortcomings (see below). It was also quite easy to assemble, with good instructions provided.The okay: the USB power cord for the lower-back massage pillow is way on the left side of the chair, unfortunate since all my USB power ports are on the right side of my computer desk and the cord is not very long.The bad: the chair had a list to the left from assembly, seemed fairly minor but became very annoying very quickly. (Apparently I missed the few reviews that pointed this flaw out.)The ugly: the lift column has one usable position - all the way down - and one semi-usable position - all the way up. If the chair is dropped from the top position, under any load it continues to drop at ~1-in intervals until it bottoms out. Supposedly rated for 330lb, can't hold a 250lb person at the top position without dropping suddenly, requiring you to get up and reset the position. I attempted to replace the lift column, only to find that it is all but impossible to remove it from the chair seat - wrenches, rubber mallets, nothing breaks it loose. (Missed the reviews with this complaint too.)Can't recommend this, although at least it's not one of the $1500 variants I passed up along the way.I bought this chair for my son for Christmas and so far he absolutely loves this chair! It is a nice breathable material and comfortable for long hours while he's playing on his computer. The setup and build was very easy, it was set up and built in less than a half-hour by my son. One thing to note that the Allen key that comes with the chair isn't very good, luckily we had a ratcheting version that worked perfectly. Using this chair is very easy, with one lever to lean the chair back and one lever to raise and lower the height it makes everything very simple to learn. He finds the most comfortable position to be at the highest height and almost a 90-degree angle. The armrests are very comfortable and adjustable as well, they are made of a tough but comfortable rubber that forms to your arms as you play videogames on it. Surprisingly you can almost recline all the way back to a 180-degree angle very comfortably with the reclining footrest. Just reach under the chair, grab the footrest and pull it out and you have a fully working recliner. One thing he does not like however is the lumbar pillow that is included. Luckily it was easy to take off and put away until needed. The pillow where your head rests is very comfortable and adjustable. It is out of the way when not needed and there when he wants to recline.Overall, I believe this chair has all a gamer could want; comfort, flexibility, and most importantly the ability to slide right under his desk when not playing. The thin profile is perfect for a smaller room where space might be an issue. If you are looking for a gaming chair that will last you years and will not crack like leather chairs I would not hesitate to buy this chair especially from this company; they respond almost immediately even on weekends and help in any way they can to make sure the customer is totally satisfied. I simply could not recommend this chair and this company enough. They deserve all the business they get and then some!My first chair arrived and i was able to build it up pretty easily. Took maybe half an hour. Is comfortable, sturdy and i like the vibrating message actually (although don't keep it on too long it makes you sick to your stomach after like an hour because its literally concentrated right behind it haha). Unfortunately my unit suffered from this leftward tilt that made it just weird to sit in. The company was quick to respond and I had a replacement on my porch within a few days. I was really impressed.The replacement unit suffered from the same quality issue. The chair has a weird lean to the side. The seller was very communicative again not only to get me a different replacement chair they know does not have this quality issue but to ask questions of me and have me take pictures to help them figure out the issue with the current one!This seller is quick to respond, very good at fixing issues that arrise and great at keep the customer happy. They have a quality issue with this chair but are willing to sent replacements until the issue is resolved. Unfortunate quality issue that i believe they will work though but good customer service is good customer service, no matter how you slice it.I bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it! He’s 5’ 10”, 200 lbs and says it’s very comfortable. Many adjustment options for comfort. I found it comfortable as well. The lumbar pillow is comfortable but don’t expect much regarding the massage feature, it’s just ok. It was very easy to assemble. I would suggest 2 people to assemble so one can hold the pieces in place while one tightens the screws. It comes with an Allen wrench so no additional tools are really needed. Overall I would say this chair is worth itWithout the provided lumbar cushion, the back of the seat is almost unbearable. You can feel the metal frame. However if you only plan to use the seat with the cushion in place, it feels great. I just wish there was some padding in place without the lumbar cushion.
