Educational Collaborators Explore Maker Technologies: 3D Printing for STEM Learning & Classroom Projects | Perfect for Teachers, Students & DIY Enthusiasts

The purpose of this engagement is to provide one full day onsite workshop focused on a basic understanding of 3D design and 3D printing. May be presented as an introduction or intermediate workshop. Participants will explore the software behind 3D printing, printing a 3D object, pedagogy to support 3D printing and curriculum for 3D printing. Additionally, they will learn tips for classroom management and how to operate and troubleshoot the 3D printer. 3D printers may include, but are not limited to: Dremel, Flashforge, Makerbot, Robo 3D.
